Nevoswitch from Televes 5x5x6 with 32 satellite inputs for one Quattro converter and 1 input from terrestrial TV antenna (dvb-t). The multiswitch has built-in resistors, where they can be set as terminal or cascade multiswitches by means of a switch. The devices are equipped with the ECO system, thanks to which power consumption decreases with a decrease in the number of connected users. Thanks to the refined housing, we obtain better shielding and heat output.

The multiswitch does not include a power supply. The power supply is required for the proper operation of the multiswitch. · Commercially available on the market Multiswitches 5/8 (Chinese, Turkish) draw power from the power grid at the level of – from 12 to 25 [W] (this can be easily checked on the websites of manufacturers or importers .
This explains why most multiswitches give off SO much heat :)
· The power consumption of our NevoSwitch 5/8 multiswitch for example 4 active SAT outputs is:
(12 V x 65mA) + (4 x 33mA* 13 V) = 2.496 [W]
That is, translating the records from the formula:
(power consumption of multiswitch 5/8) + (power consumption from SAT tuners – for 4 - ech users x 33 mA) = 2,496 [W]
How much money do we save annually by using our NevoSwitch 5/8 ?
(10 W x 24 h x 365 days) / 1000 x 0.62 PLN / KWh = at least 54 PLN (savings) per year
Explanation of the records from the formula :
(difference in power consumption of multiswitches x number of hours per day x number of days per year) / by 1000 to be in KWh x rate per KWh Energa Gdańsk = saving money
