Klarowin - clarifying agent 10 g Homemade wine is not always clear, so clarification may be needed. Unfortunately, we can never be sure whether we are dealing with turbidity caused by positively charged molecules (e.g. proteins) or negatively charged molecules (e.g. polyphenols) or other compounds of organic origin. Before using a specific clarifying agent, it is worth making samples on a small sample of wine (approx. 1 L). They allowed us to choose the right clarifying agent. The clarification process usually takes about a week. You should also remember not to overdose clarifying agents. In too high a dose, secondary turbidity may occur or we will cause a change in the color of our wine. Klarowin is an effective clarifying agent for wines and juices. It consists of bentonite (negatively charged), which after swelling in water has strong adsorption properties. It binds in its structure various types of charged substances, mainly proteins, metal ions, causing their deposition at the bottom of the vessel. Gently increases the alkalinity of the wine. The sediment forming is little compacted and delicate, easy to seep. Mainly used for white and rosé wines. Specifications: Weight: 10 g For 10 l of the set For clarifying white and red wines Ingredients: bentonite Directions for use: Pour the appropriate portion of Claricin into 100 ml of water and mix well. Leave the mixture prepared in this way for a day, stirring occasionally. After this time, pour the solution into the clarified liquid. The effect should be visible after about a week in the form of sediment falling to the bottom.
