MiG-17 NATO Code "Fresco"
A very distinctive and beautiful colour version of the MIG-17 fighter from the Vietnam War period. The inquisitive will no doubt notice that both the painting and the side number 0327 are no coincidence. A similar fighter can be seen during a visit to the floating museum on the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid in New York. The WSK PZL-Mielec Lim-5 (MiG-17) displayed there looks just as good as our block model!
The MIG-17 is a Soviet-manufactured fighter aircraft that served in the air forces of 40 countries around the world. Under the name LIM-5, it was also produced in Poland.
The model of the MIG-17 aircraft has been designed in a model scale of 1:32 and consists of 577 high-quality elements. All markings, emblems and inscriptions found on the model are prints that will not rub off during use. The kit has movable elements such as wheels and an opening cabin in which we can place the sensational pilot figure. The camouflage pattern reproduced from the bricks is particularly beautiful. The set comes with a display stand containing a plaque with the name of the set and nationality marking. Thanks to intuitive instructions based on clear icons, construction is simple. The aircraft is a must-have item for all fans of aviation, militaria and military technology. It also makes an excellent addition to the Armed Forces, Vietnam War, Cold War and Korean War collections. The series also includes the Polish LIM-1 and LIM-5 aircraft, the Soviet MIG-15, the Czechoslovakian S-102 and the MIG-17 versions for the GDR and USSR. The building block set has been entirely manufactured in Poland within the European Union.
