1. Remove the plastic cap from the cartridge.
2. Place the cartridge at the bottom of the plug until you hear a click. Make sure that the cartridge is in an upright position at all times.
3. Place the plug in the outlet.
4. To increase or decrease the intensity of the smell, twist the dial on top of the plug. Largest sign = highest intensity.
5. To replace the cartridge, remove the device from the outlet and pull the bottle out of the plug
