Dual Band WiFi Poynting Directional Antenna WLAN-60

The WLAN-60 antenna is a dual-band Wi-Fi antenna developed by Poynting. The WLAN-60 is a linear, high-gain dual-band antenna in a single enclosure that can connect to any Wi-Fi access point, whether it is older Wi-Fi technology or the new dual-band one. Therefore, antennas cannot be used to troubleshoot channel saturation issues and provide the highest Wi-Fi performance and flexibility. This means that the antenna can be used for point-to-point connections where there is a lot of RF noise and cluttered environments. The antenna operates in two Wi-Fi frequency bands (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), offering excellent use of the radio spectrum. The antenna has a maximum gain of 13dBi in the 2.4GHz band and 18dBi in the 5GHz band, which ensures the best performance with reliable connections. The antenna also includes the 3.5 GHz CBRS band, which will be used in future 5G technologies with 15dBi peak amplification The housing is made of ABS plastic, which is highly impact-resistant and is also resistant to acids and other chemicals that may be present in industrial plants. The antenna can be opened from the side where the SMA female connector is located. You can then run the cable through a bypass choke, which means you don't need to connect the antenna cable to extension cords. This eliminates losses on joints and the need to seal and seal fittings when installed outdoors.

Voltage Wave Factor (VSWR)

VSWR is a measure of the efficiency of transmitting radio frequency power from a power source through a transmission line to a load. In an ideal system, 100% of the energy is transmitted, which corresponds to VSWR 1:1. WLAN-60 provides excellent performance in all bands with VSWR <2.5:1.

* gain in dBi

18 dBi is peak gain in all bands 2400-2500 MHz, 3300-3800 MHz and 5000-6000 MHz.
- Gain at 2400–2500 MHz: 13dBi
- Gain at 3300–3800 MHz: 15dBi
- Gain at 5000–6000 MHz: 18dBi
* Antenna gain measured with a standard polarization-tuned antenna
