TRO-8/400PV-RACK is designed for DC power supply and reception of video signals from 8 TRN-1/400 devices (video baluns - transmitters), using twisted-pair cables (UTP, FTP) over distances up to 400 metersThe TRO-8/400PV-RACK surge arrester effectively protects the transmission line by enabling the surge current to be discharged to the ground, thus providing proper surge protection for electronic devices

The signal from the camera to the input of the TRN-1/400 transmitter is transmitted to the TRO-8/400PV-RACK receiver via twisted-pair cable. The transmitter and receiver match the impedance of the 75Ω coaxial cable to the impedance of the symmetrical cable, which ensures video transmission up to 400 meters. The TRO-8/400PV-RACK receiver allows unstabilized DC voltage (up to 40V DC) into the twisted-pair cable, which in the TRN-1/400 transmitter is stabilized to 12V DC, allowing to power cameras with a thermostat
