RACK ARMAC R/1000I/PF1 ON-LINE UPS 1000VA 4X IEC C13 USB-B LCD metal enclosure

Power Factor

A high Power Factor, maintained at 1.0, will ensure that almost all the power transferred to the unit at the input, will be given back in the form of output power.

The device's own power consumption is marginal, resulting in high energy efficiency. As a result, the maximum power of connected devices can be 1000W with an apparent power of 1000VA.

Immediate response

A work stoppage due to a failure caused by power shortage can result in serious financial losses and the loss of important data. With the Armac R/1000I/PF1, you don't have to worry about this. The unit operates in continuous mode, which means that it does not have to switch to battery operation in the event of a failure. The lack of response time is an advantage in terms of negating the risk of damage to the supported device.

Increased battery life

Even longer battery life? With the Armac R/1000I/PF1 UPS it's possible, thanks to the change in the default 'Cut-Off' voltage value, which directly reduces the risk of over-discharge of the battery, extends its life and eliminates the chances of battery damage. Expecting longer life at the expense of battery life? Thanks to the settings accessible from the LCD panel, you can change the voltage value yourself. What's more, every 60 days the UPS will carry out an automatic battery discharge test, all without the user having to do anything. This test will not only extend the life of the battery, but also minimise the risk of potential servicing. See how easy it is.

Performance you can count on

We created the Armac R/1000I/PF1 UPS for the most demanding tasks, such as protecting really powerful computers, workstations or equipment with high power consumption. The UPS is able to do such a heavy-duty job thanks to its more powerful 9Ah batteries, with a Power Factor of 1.0. What's more, this model has 4 IEC 320 C13 output sockets, allowing you to protect several devices at the same time.

The UPS of this series always provides a full sine wave, and has been created for sensitive equipment with high energy consumption. The double conversion function makes the UPS have ideal electrical characteristics at its output, it converts all the incoming AC current and then supplies the equipment with the current already generated by the UPS itself. The transfer time is zero between AC and DC modes.

Complete safety

The correct operation of the UPS is supervised by a special on-board processor that controls the parameters of the unit itself, its correct operation and the power supply to the connected equipment. The technology used in the UPS also ensures automatic battery charging in Stand-By mode and automatic start-up when mains power is restored.

Importantly, each Armac uninterruptible power supply system is equipped with an overload protection module. When the UPS is overloaded during normal operation, it will automatically terminate the power supply to the connected equipment in a safe manner. This solution reinforces the safety and comfort of Armac uninterruptible power supplies.

Ideal for sensitive equipment

Due to the nature of its operation (full sine wave in battery mode), the power supply can be used with devices with an electric motor or heater, e.g. laser printers, scanners, garage doors and entrance gates, electric roller shutters, central heating cookers. You also do not need to invest in an expensive residual current circuit breaker. This model can easily work with a circuit breaker up to 30 mA.

Convenient monitoring and easy transport

Connect the UPS to your computer (USB or RS-232) and use the PowerManager II software, which will allow you not only to issue commands but also to monitor the operation of the unit. Its simple interface means that even less advanced users can manage the tool.

Need to move a device from place to place? From now on, this is possible. All major electrical components such as capacitors and inductors have been additionally reinforced with an extra layer of glue between them and the PCB laminate. This increases reliability and safety, making it even easier and safer to move the device from place to place.

Multiple installation options and helpful mounting accessories included

The unit can be mounted in a 19" rack in two ways: with mounting ears alone (included in the product) or with the additional use of Armac's mounting rail kit - R/0019, the latter option being recommended for better stability and security of the Battery Pack.

Special stands are also included with the UPS, allowing the unit to be installed vertically, outside the rack. If we want to position the UPS and more than one Battery Pack module in this way, we have the possibility to do so, thanks to the leg extensions. A supply of M6 screws is also included in the package. Both products are made of metal alloy, which guarantees the robustness of the material.

Despite our best efforts, we cannot guarantee that the published technical data and photos do not contain inaccuracies or errors, which, however, cannot be a basis for claims.
