A small atlas of cats (and kittens) by Ewa and Pawel Pawlak
In their fourth small atlas, the couple pays tribute to their great love: cats. You will find here, among others, fluffy Norwegian cats, blue-eyed Siamese, Japanese cats with a pom-pom instead of a tail, as well as a cat above cats: a multi-racial dachshund. Personal stories are interspersed in this book with age-appropriate information about cat nature, cat language or the wild cousins of the domestic cat. The texts are accompanied by delightful illustrations: affectionate cat portraits conjured from fabric, elegant watercolours and space cats made from papier mâché. There were also photographs and, of course, children's drawings by Ola, a friend of the authors.
Although cats have lived alongside humans for millennia, they retain their independence, their sense of dignity and a whole host of secrets! So let's take a walk, if they will let us, along the mysterious cat paths.
