With the GSM-015 device from SkyRC, you can easily check the speed at which your car is going, check how high your drone or plane is flying, as well as save the route and export it to Google Earth. The GSM-015 is more than just a speedometer – it's an extremely advanced and precise device encased in an ultra-compact housing and weighing only 45 grams.  The high-precision GPS chip performs a quick position determination and provides real-time speed and altitude information. The gadget is designed for racing car models, drones, airplanes (it is recommended to attach with Velcro straps), for cycling, car and for long trips. The user can easily read data such as speed, absolute altitude, longitude and latitude. The device records the highest speed and altitude, which can be checked immediately after the ride. Using GPSlogger (download here), a user can upload their location data to PC/Mac and export it to Bing Maps to see their route.

Simultaneous GPS and GLONASS reception

The DGSM-015 supports GPS and GLONASS systems simultaneously, giving it access to many more satellites orbiting the earth. This allows for much greater positioning accuracy by tracking the positions of two sets of satellites, instead of just GPS. The built-in 1M memory allows you to save up to 18 hours of route at an update frequency of 1 Hz. The frequency of position updates is adjustable from 1 Hz to 10 Hz.
