Cudy PoE+ power supply is a device that provides power to network devices. The switch has 1 Gbps ports, thanks to which we have the ability to connect many devices without worrying about the data transfer speed. This model allows you to power devices up to 24W. Injector Cudy works on the principle of Plug & Play, so it does not require additional configuration. On the bottom of the device there are holes through which we can hang the device on the wall.
Power over Ethernet PoE - what is it?
Power over Ethernet (PoE for short) is a technology for transmitting power over an ethernet cable. Thanks to this, we can simultaneously power the device and ensure the exchange of information. PoE technology is especially popular for IP cameras, VoIP phones, Internet access points (Access Points) and POS terminals. Network devices using PoE are convenient to use, which is why they are liked by installers. Taking for example the monitoring network - normally you would have to pull the power and transmission cable to each camera separately. Here we can use a switch that will simultaneously power the devices and send information from them.
