The KNIPEX Cobra® XL and XXL pliers offer the performance and comfort of pipe pliers while reducing weight and increasing grip range over comparable pipe wrenches.

Cobra® XL pliers can grip, for example, a 2" pipe joint, weighing 50% less than a 2" pipe wrench, which also has a much smaller grip range. With a handy length of 400 mm, the Cobra® XL pliers will fit in any installer's suitcase.

Cobra® XXL pliers with a grip range of up to 4 1/2" provide a large gripping reserve, weighing only as much as a 2" pipe wrench.
