Fiber optic patchcord is used in networks such as LAN, WAN, CCTV, and telephone systems, e.g., in offices, homes, or industry. Fiber optic cabling is characterized by resistance to electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, reliability, operational safety due to the absence of sparking and voltage, as well as high information capacity of each individual fiber.
