ALANTEC fiber optic cables with increased durability are intended for external installations in cable ducts or directly in the ground, in places not exposed to direct mechanical damage. Thanks to the strength elements in the form of aramid fiber sheath and central reinforcing core, they are suitable for suspension on function poles with fixing distances of up to 60 meters.
Depending on the country of manufacture, cable designations can be used interchangeably: Z-XOTktsdD or A-DQ(ZN)B2Y.
The applied single-mode 9/125 μm fibers type OS2 are characterized by high transmission parameters and low dispersion phenomenon. Designed for long-distance signal transmission in large telecommunications, backbone, CATV, access, campus, WAN, FTTx, etc. networks.
The center of the cable is the central strength element in the form of a plastic core surrounded by loose tubes in which there are optical fibers. The inside of the tubes is filled with gel or hydrophobic non-woven fabric, which is a moisture insulation. The whole resort remains surrounded and protected with plastic and aramid fibers, which are a safe anti-rodent barrier. The green tube is a directional tube.
The PE outer coating remains UV resistant. Print length every 1 meter.
