Mikavi PQ6 3CH video recorder
The Mikavi PQ6 video recorder will record not only what is at the front and rear of the vehicle, but also what is on the sides thanks to the internal camera. High resolution
The recorded image is clear and allows you to capture even small details, such as license plate numbers. The 2.5K + FHD + FHD connection is a very high resolution recording against the background of competing car cameras.
Exceptional recording quality
The quality of recordings depends mainly on optical components. That is why in all three cameras we focused on optical sensors with increased sensitivity to light (GC4653 and GC2053). The sharpness of the recorded image and the detail of the image also in night conditions are ensured by a 6-layer glass lens and a bright lens (low aperture value). A top-of-the-line processor ensures reliable camera operation.
Wide viewing angle of the lens
The task of the additional camera is to record not only the interior of the vehicle. Due to the wide viewing angle, the camera also records events on the sides of the car. This is a completely different perspective, which we will not get in the case of dual cameras. This is an additional evidentiary protection in the event of a collision, parking damage or road aggression.
Automatic parking mode
One of the most sought-after and expected features of the recorder is the 24-hour vehicle security. In this respect, the Mikavi PQ6 will satisfy the most demanding, because it has an advanced and at the same time convenient automatic parking mode. Activation/deactivation occurs with ignition. The recorder automatically detects when the vehicle is parked and automatically switches to parking mode. Three parking modes allow you to choose between starting recording when motion or shock is detected, continuous time-lapse recording, or continuous recording with a reduced bitrate, which limits the volume of files on the memory card (up to 140 hours of footage on a 256GB card).
Dedicated adapter to protect the battery against discharge
The adapter plugged into the electrical system is a method of constant power supply to the recorder also when stationary and when the engine is turned off, e.g. in order to use the parking mode. An additional ACC cable used in the adapter allows you to activate/deactivate the parking mode in the camera along with the ignition of the car. The adapter has an adjustable voltage cut-off option.
Capacitor replacing a lithium-ion battery
The recorder is equipped with a capacitor replacing the lithium-ion battery. Capacitors are much more durable than batteries, are resistant to external factors, e.g. heat, frost, and thus more safe than li-ion batteries.
H.265 file format
Support for cards up to 256 GB and effective compression while maintaining quality will allow for more saved recordings. The biggest benefit of using H.265 recording encoding over the hitherto most popular H.264 is the higher efficiency of video signal processing. While maintaining a similar image quality, the resulting files take up a smaller volume on the memory card, up to 50%.
GPS module
The GPS module provides the ability to save geolocation data. Using the program to play recordings with GPS data, we can track the route of the vehicle on the map along with the current data (speed, location, acceleration). In addition, we can display the speed and coordinates on the recordings. By synchronizing the clock based on the satellite signal, the recordings contain a precise timestamp.
Built-in WiFi module
With the help of the free application, you can conveniently play back the recordings stored on the memory card in the camera directly on the smartphone display and download them to the phone's memory. This function is extremely useful in emergency situations such as a collision. The dedicated application also allows you to configure and operate the recorder from the level of a smartphone with iOS / Android system.
