Design: polyamide housing with soft side inserts for good grip. The clamping bar can be replaced without the use of additional tools and so that the work area can be easily adjusted. In addition, the clamping bars have a hole through which perimeter cutting can be observed. The rotating, TIN-coated inner knife automatically switches from circumferential to longitudinal cutting. In this way, insulation can be removed from longer cable lengths in one operation. The knurled screw at the end of the handle allows quick and precise setting of the cutting depth, and the markings allow quick setting for repeating types of cables. In addition, at the end of the handle there is a replaceable retractable sickle blade. With the 4-step depth adjustment, the blade can be positioned at intervals of 0.6 mm to approximately 4.6 mm of cover thickness. Delivery with 1 spare blade in the handle.
Application: for quick and uncomplicated removal of insulation from all common cables.
