The DS-2CD2022WD-I camera is a great solution for installations, where the basic requirement is a high-resolution image generated both during the day and at night, and from a megapixel camera we require sensitivity similar to the parameters of an analog camera. The DS-2CD2022WD-I camera is equipped with a 2Mpix resolution (1920x1080) sensor, which allows to obtain a high-resolution image with almost six times higher detail compared to analog cameras (4CIF).
The camera works in dual mode, i.e. day and night, which allows for proper color reproduction in good lighting conditions (day), as well as maximum use of the camera's sensitivity in low light conditions (night). The IR heater used allows you to illuminate the scene with infrared in night conditions. If we do not want or can not use infrared, the camera also allows in night conditions to increase the gain or integrate frames (extending the exposure time).
The HIkvision camera uses H.264+ compression to reduce network bandwidth occupancy and disk occupancy in the DVR. Thanks to intelligent analysis, predictive encoding, background noise cancellation and adaptive bandwidth control, the gain over popular H.264 compression is on average 30%. At the same time, in order to maintain compatibility with other systems, it is possible to use standard H.264 compression.
The DS-2CD2022WD-I camera allows after physical rotation of the video sensor by 90 degrees for a software change of scanning, which allows to obtain an image with proportions suitable for monitoring corridors, passages, etc.
The camera is equipped with a fixed lens with a wide viewing angle, in which the focus has been preset and no additional adjustment of the lens is required.
The camera is equipped with a bracket that allows installation without the use of additional tools. The knob allows you to adjust the position of the camera and then stabilize the selected position.
Thanks to the use of PoE power supply (in addition to the standard 12 VDC) in the DS-2CD2022WD-I camera, it is possible to significantly simplify the installation, because the entire installation can be made only with one type of cabling, i.e. twisted pair cable. It is also much easier to use emergency power supply for the entire video monitoring system.
Thanks to the efficient chipset used in the DS-2CD2022WD-I, it is possible to define and use 2 independent video streams with the ability to define frame rate, compression (first H.264, second H.264 or MJPEG), quality or bandwidth. The first stream uses megapixel resolution, the second maximum 4CIF. This allows, for example, to record the full 2Mpix image on the NVR and local preview of the image with 4CIF resolution, or FullHD locally and 4CIF for mobile connections.
The WDR hardware function guarantees correct reproduction of the scene even in the case of large differences in the level of illumination of different parts of the scene. Typical applications are glazed passages, entrances to buildings, etc.
Digital noise reduction in the 3D DNR image results in multidimensional filtering of the sensors in terms of removing noise-related effects and correct color rendering by the camera, resulting in an image much more favorable to the human eye and better subject to compression.
Support for ONVIF in the latest version of ONVIF 2.2 and ONVIF Profile S allows you to combine HIKVISION cameras with a wide range of video recording solutions, both programmable and hardware.
Unified for all Hikvision cameras web interface in Polish allowing for full configuration of all camera parameters. The camera allows you to view, play video (NAS) and remote configuration via any web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Mozilla are supported).
The IVMS-4200 program is a free CMS client that allows you to create a surveillance station for a system operator consisting of many different Hikvision devices (DVR, NVR, HVR, IP cameras). In addition to live video display, video playback and device configuration, multi-monitor operation, e-map support, alarm display, etc. are also possible.
