Guide pilot made of high quality hardened steel designed for trepanation drill. HSS.
The guide pilot performs several functions, the most important of which are:
- positioning function - the pilot terminated with a cone determines the place where drilling starts,
- providing cooling - after starting drilling, the guide pilot allows the coolant to flow into the center of the drilled hole, facilitating the drilling process and extending the life of the trepanation drill,
- after drilling, pushes the remaining part of the material from the inside of the trepanation drill.
The use of a guide pilot is necessary for the proper operation of drills with a magnetic foot, when drilling with trepanation drills.
The guide pilot "short to fi12mm" is designed only for GLOB HSS 12x30mm trepanation drills.
