Proline garden hoses from the CERBON PLUS series are four-layer products made of flexible PVC based on suspense polyvinyl chloride and other components that improve flexibility at low temperatures, additionally reinforced with textile wrapping. The product is designed for pumping water with an operating pressure of 10 bar (at 20oC), the bursting pressure is above 30 bar (at 20oC). Temperature range from -25oC to +60oC. Product protected in the European Union. PROLINE hoses are environmentally friendly products, because in the chemical composition of the plastics used we will not find cadmium, barium, lead and phthalates. In addition, the high quality of the materials used practically eliminates the transmission of light, which effectively limits the possibility of algae deposition inside the hose. The product is also suitable for contact with drinking water. The materials used are also resistant to UV radiation.
Construction of a 4-layer hose:
- The special inner layer of the hose core is made of a full-fledged raw material suitable for contact with drinking water, which is also a seal of the product (prevents the hose from delamination)
- The outer layer of the hose core protects the product from algae deposition inside the hose
- The cross reinforcement of the hose is made of the highest quality polyester yarn, protects the product against changes in the technical parameters of the hose (diameter of the internal product) and increases its pressure resistance. The thickness of the yarn and the density of the braid is selected according to the types and diameters of the hoses
- A special outer layer of the hose (plating) made of full-fledged raw material enriched with components that improve its flexibility and resistance to low temperatures. The coating layer is enriched with 3 longitudinal, narrow strips arranged symmetrically around the perimeter of the hose and one longitudinal strip wide for marking the product
