Additional information
- It is best to give Gammolen during or immediately after eating. You can squeeze the contents of the capsule directly into the food.
- The basic treatment should last no less than 2 months so that the body can supplement the deficiency of omega-6 and omega-3 acids.
- Usually, the first effects of use appear after about 10 days of administration of Gammolen. If this period is prolonged, you can increase the amount of Gammolen in the diet. The individual nutritional needs of the animal (e.g. young or old animals after physical exertion, during convalescence) may require longer or more Gammolen in the daily diet.

Problems such as dry skin, problems with coat, scaly epidermis (dandruff), itching, baldness often result from EFA deficiencies. Animal food contains too few of these substances important for health, because they are very sensitive to damage, e.g. during industrial processing of feed as well as during cooking, frying, freezing. The best way to supplement them in the diet is to give Gammolen capsules with active omega-3 and omega-6.
OMEGA-6 and omega-3 EFAs are a building block of cells and tissues of the body and are involved in metabolic transformations, with particular emphasis on cell membranes. Omega-6 and omega-3 EFAs are necessary for the proper functioning of the body, and they play a particularly important role in maintaining the proper structure and function of the skin and coat.
Omega-6 and omega-3 EFAs are the building material of the skin, accelerate and improve its oxygenation and nutrition, strengthen the skin's resistance to infections, inflammation and damage. An important role of EFAs is also to prevent excessive water loss through the skin. Ceramides are responsible for this mechanism, which include linoleic acid from the omega-6 group.
