The SELF-ADHESIVE FROSTED VENEER foil is perfect for giving the windows and the interior of your home a unique character. 1. Film properties:

  • self-adhesive - the film has a specialized channel glue that facilitates sticking and minimizes the risk of air bubbles; The film is easy to install, especially on flat, even surfaces

  • easy to correct - you may be thinking: "What if I glue the foils wrong?" Calmly! Even within a dozen or so minutes from the first fixation you are able to get full strength of the film. At the initial stage, the adhesive still weakly "bonds", which will make it easier for you to correct the error

  • trouble-free removal - the film can be easily removed using warm air; does not leave traces of glue

  • flexible - films can be adapted to a variety of shapes.

  • convenient in portioning - the film on its inner side has evenly distributed lines that will make it easier for you to cut it to the right size

  • resistant to abrasion, detergents and even oils and greases

  • Easy to clean - just wipe with a damp cloth.

2. Installation instructions

Tools useful for film assembly: surface degreasing preparation, scissors, dryer and squeegee. (not included)

REMARK! If you want to use a heat gun, remember to keep the right distance. The same is true for the dryer. Too high a temperature can unglue the veneer.

1) Film preparation - the film on its inner side has evenly distributed lines. Based on them, cut with scissors a suitable piece. REMARK! It is worth considering 2-3 cm to wrap the foil under the veneered element.

2) Surface preparation - the area where the film will be well degrease and rub. It must be clean and dry.

3) Installation of the foil - glue the foil gradually by peeling off the protective paper. For flat surfaces, press with squeegee blades.

4) Elimination of bubbles - hollow glue minimizes the risk of air bubbles. However, in the event of their appearance, smooth the film from the inside out - you can do this with a squeegee.

5) After assembly, the film does not require heat fixation.

3. Use of foil

The film is primarily recommended for indoor use.

 The most common use of foil:

  • instead of blinds or curtains for windows

  • in offices with glass walls

  • refreshing the appearance of the window sill, wardrobe, chest of drawers and other furniture

  • masking damage and other imperfections

     

Remark! There are places, objects to which it is not worth sticking foil:

  • Do not stick to moving parts - e.g. door hinges - as the foil may break

  • Do not stick to places that heat up - e.g. lamps, oven doors - because the film may burn
