Silicone oil designed for filling differentials with a density of 25000 cSt.
The differential works by maintaining the difference in rotation between the outer and inner wheels during the turn. This prevents the constant slip of one of the wheels, which would be caused by the same speed of rotation of the wheels moving on different road lengths. The outer wheel during a bend, always overcomes the road longer than the inner wheel and the lack of speed differentiation, causes a constant slip of one of them, preventing proper control of the vehicle. For example, on an off-road track, a higher density (viscosity) of silicone oil is often used, and on smooth tracks with high grip with a lower density, which in this case allows for more natural gliding and more control over the vehicle.
