GERC32-HPDD / 469E
Design: GERC-HPDD precision collets similar to DIN ISO 15488-A (formerly DIN 6499).
Collets have an average system accuracy of 3 μm (for a 3 x D gap of max. 50 mm) in precision collet holders.
Due to internal cooling, they are sealed (up to 120 bar) and have additional spray nozzles so that even in tools without a cooling channel, the coolant reaches the cutting edge. Grips with a side surface can only be used to a limited extent, i.e. this surface must be behind the rubber stopper, because only then can tightness be achieved.
They are particularly suitable for HSC machining and high-precision machining in CENTRO P.
GERC-HPD does not have the ability to compensate for diameter deviations from the nominal dimension (tolerance h8), neither in CENTRO P nor in a standard fixture holder, where the blue ring must be removed because it does not function as a gasket.
