Precision collet GERC25-HPD / 429E
Design: GERC-HPD precision collets similar to DIN ISO 15488-A (formerly DIN 6499).
Collets have an average system accuracy of 3 μm (for 3 x D spacing max. 50 mm) in precision collet holders (for GERC8-HP it is 6 μm). All of them are protected against corrosion thanks to the new FAHRION Protect coating.
GERC-HPD collets have a seal for internal cooling and can be used at pressures up to 120 bar. Grips with a side surface can only be used to a limited extent, i.e. this surface must be behind the rubber stopper, because only then can tightness be achieved.
They are particularly suitable for HSC machining and high-precision machining.
GERC-HPD does not have the ability to compensate for diameter deviations from the nominal dimension (tolerance h8). When using with a standard holder for collet sleeves, remove the blue ring.
