Precision collet GERC16-HP / 426 E
Material: precision collets GERC-HP DIN ISO 15488-B (formerly DIN 6499).
Collets have an average system accuracy of 3 μm (for 3 x D spacing max. 50 mm) in precision collet holders (for GERC8-HP it is 6 μm). All of them are protected against corrosion thanks to the new FAHRION Protect coating.
GERC-HP collets are particularly suitable for HSC machining and precision machining, where only nominal dimensions (h10 tolerance) can be mounted.
In a standard clamping holder they are characterized by normal compensation of deviations of the diameter from the nominal dimension, but the blue ring must be removed because it does not act as a gasket. We recommend fastening only nominal dimensions.
