Precision fiber cutters are used for cutting optical fibers, both single-mode and multimode. The device is designed for cutting optical fibers in order to properly prepare them for the welding process or assembly of mechanical welds or connectors. The cutter allows you to cut the fiber at an angle of 90° with an accuracy of ~0.5°. It is equipped with a rotating, replaceable knife with 12-16 cutting positions. This solution ensures ~36000-48000 precise fiber cuts with one knife.
