A year at home
Hello! My name is Alex. I live at Dove Street with my parents and my little brother Filip. Our house is never boring! We have friendly neighbours and lots of pets, and there's plenty of space to play behind the house. We even have a communal garden! I invite you to our tenement - the coolest place in the world!
The tenement at Dove 7 is inhabited by a group of warm-hearted people and their lovely charges: Maria and Witold with their two kittens, the writer Oliwia with her family, the bookseller Ola with her son Antek and her dog Azor, the vet clinic managers Basia and Karol with their daughters and their dog Kropka. They are constantly being helped by Krzysztof the handyman. There were also pigeons (the name of the street obliges!), a blackbird, a mouse, a mole, a spider and Benek the cat! This harmonious gang is often visited by guests: chess aficionado Jan, Klara - Oliwia's mum, Karolina and Kacper - the beloved grandchildren of Maria and Witold, farmer Adam with his son Kuba, Hanna - Ola's friend, and her daughter Laura, as well as the postman. The most astute will also spot Lidka the bee from somewhere!
