S Series
The S series offers in its range both binoculars in the roof and porro arrangement, with lens diameters > 40mm, allowing you to adjust the binoculars to your personal preferences. In addition to the newly developed coating system improving light transmission, PENTAX binoculars have additional protective hydrophobic coatings, protecting against the deposition of moisture and impurities on external optical elements.

Porroprismatic binoculars from the S series are ideal for extreme conditions. Solid construction with non-slip coating and sealing system protecting against water and dust will make the PENTAX - S binoculars a reliable companion on land and water.

Multilayer coating technology
Multi-layer coated optics guarantee maximum light throughput by preventing flare effects, thus guaranteeing clear images regardless of the lighting. Multilayer coatings have been applied to the surface of every optical component in the entire PENTAX Sport Optics range.

Protective coatings
All external optical elements of the binoculars are exposed to damage during observation and transfer of equipment. To avoid dirt or scratches, the entire PENTAX Z WP series and the PENTAX S WP series have been additionally equipped with a protective Nano coating that protects the binoculars against water, grease, dust and dirt. All this makes the Z and S series binoculars cope with the most demanding conditions.

BaK4 prism
Thanks to the unique refractive index, the glass prism BaK4, which is found in all PENTAX Sport Optics binoculars, ensures a clear field of view also at the edges.
