With the Nitecore UM2 charger you can conveniently and safely charge 2 batteries at the same time. The device charges with a total maximum current of 3000 mA and has been equipped with an LCD display that will provide you with the most important information. They are also distinguished by wide compatibility. You can also use it to activate excessively discharged batteries. The built-in micro USB port allows you to connect the charger to various power sources.
The charger is compatible with QC2.0 power supplies, so its total output current can be up to 3000 mA. There is a maximum of 1500 mA per slot. This means that to charge one battery with a capacity of 3500 mAh to 80%, about 2 hours are enough!
With the help of a charger, you can regenerate an excessively discharged IMR battery. When you place it in the compartment and the "EE EE" code appears on the screen, press and hold the V button to start the recovery process. UM2 also allows you to activate excessively discharged Li-ion batteries.
Durable and fire-resistant PC plastic is used to make the charger. Thanks to this, the device is very durable - it will serve you well for a long time. UM2 will also not overheat - the built-in temperature control system is responsible for this. What's more, the charger has been designed in such a way that optimal heat dissipation is possible. In addition, after 10 minutes of inactivity, the screen of the device will automatically dim to save power.
UM2 offers a special program optimized for IMR batteries. It monitors the entire charging process, giving you the peace of mind that the voltage remains at the right level at all times. In this way, it protects IMR batteries from damage and prolongs their service life. The charger has also been protected against short circuit and reverse polarity. What's more, UM2 automatically selects one of 3 charging modes (CC, CV or -dV/dt) depending on the type and capacity of the battery.
You can easily use the charger not only at home, but also, for example, when traveling. UM2 is equipped with a micro USB port that allows you to connect it to electricity in various ways. You can power it not only with a regular adapter, but also with a powerbank or even solar panels.
The built-in real-time LCD screen will provide you with the most important information about the operation of the charger. For example, you can use it to check the battery type and voltage, mode and charging time. It is also possible to manually adjust the parameters of the device. This is possible thanks to the C button located under the screen. Just press and hold it to set the desired voltage (3.7 / 4.2 / 4.3 V) or current (100-1500 mA) of charging.
