Thanks to the heatsink and good fan design, the Alpine 12 LP offers a lot of performance at a very low price. In internal tests of 28 dB(A), the cooling performance of the Alpine 12 LP was on par with the competition, offering a much smaller footprint at a more affordable price.
The high thermal conductivity of aluminum is fully preserved by the new type of extrusion. This new manufacturing process creates a powerful but very compact radial heatsink. The ultra-thin cooling fins of the new Alpine are distributed in a Y-shape, increasing the surface area of the heatsink and thus the cooling performance.
New motor technology with a very wide PWM-controlled RPM range keeps noise levels to a minimum for maximum cooling performance.
The new Alpine 12 LP performs much more efficiently than its predecessors. Thanks to sinus magnetization, the new motor produces only 5% of the vibrations coming from the commutation of a normal DC motor. These factors contribute to energy savings, lower coil temperature and reduce vibration to a minimum without compromising performance.
With an installation height of only 42.2 mm, the Alpine 12 LP is particularly suitable for small and narrow housings. It is easy to assemble and gives you full access to all components near the CPU. The compact Top-Blower CPU cooler also cools the areas around the CPU socket and is designed for HTPC and Mini-ITX cases.
