SATELITE Finder is a very simple and convenient to use device for setting the optimal level of signal received by a satellite dish. The meter has been equipped with a signal level tilt indicator and a siren with variable sound intensity, facilitating accurate and quick positioning of the antennas. Thanks to the tilting and sound (variable sound modulation) signal level indicator, adjustable sensitivity and very easy operation of this device, everyone can easily cope with the precise setting of both analog and digital antennas.
Connection and operation of the SAT meter:
Before you start connecting the tester, make sure that the satellite receiver is turned off!
- to the input described as "TO LNB" you need to connect a cable from the LNB satellite converter.
- a cable from the satellite receiver should be connected to the input described as "TO REC".
Make sure the connections are made correctly. Turn on the satellite receiver, the backlight of the tester scale will turn on, the pointer will be set to around 1.
Pre-position the satellite dish to the satellite from which the programs will be received.
With the knob located on the front panel of the tester, set the reading on the scale around 5.
Precisely position the satellite dish and LNB to achieve the maximum level. If the reading reaches the maximum value of the scale, turn the knob.
Again, perform a check of the setting of the antenna and the LNB satellite converter to the maximum signal.
Turn off the satellite receiver, disconnect the meter from the measuring path.
Connect the satellite receiver directly to the LNB

The meter does not require a separate power supply, it is powered directly from the tuner.
