Line Amplifier: DVB-T2 20dB 12V
The line amplifier from Spacetronik provides 20dB gain in terrestrial TV antenna installations. The amplifier can be mounted to the F socket directly next to the antenna or tuner head. It requires a 5-12V power supply. It can be powered by an antenna power supply or directly from the tuner. The gain applies to terrestrial digital TV signals in the 5-700MHz band.
The amplifier is designed primarily for external antennas in situations where the installation is too "long", which makes the signal weak. In such a situation, it is recommended to amplify the signal using, for example, using antenna amplifiers.
What are the symptoms of a signal that is too weak? Very generally, it is manifested by distortions, cropping of the image and its complete fading.
