The OPTICUM AX W-20 pass-through amplifier is used wherever the signal from the external antenna (not equipped with an amplifier) reaching the receiver is too weak, which is manifested by stuttering or fading of the image.
The cause of such symptoms, as a rule, is: too large distance of the antenna from the transmitter, natural obstacles (hills, trees), tall buildings between the transmitter and the antenna, division of the signal from the antenna into several TVs.
The amplifier is designed for use with external directional antennas with a symmetrizer terminated with an F socket.
The amplifier should be screwed directly into the symmetrizer socket at the antenna and given a voltage of 5-12 V from the receiver or power supply.
Technical data:
- I/O impedance: 75 Ohm
- Gain: 20 dB
- Power supply: 5-12 V
- Band: VHF-UHF
