Mikavi PQ7 video recorder

Mikavi PQ7 is a car camera that records not only what is front and rear of the vehicle, but also what is on the sides thanks to as many as two internal cameras. The driving recorder is equipped with an active convenient parking mode. The constant power supply included in the kit enables round-the-clock monitoring from all four cameras. High-quality materials and components ensure long service life, while the excellent quality of recordings and reliability of functioning make the camera fulfill its basic function, i.e. help you feel safer on the road.

Sensor 4 x SONY STARVIS IMX307 (2 MP)

The quality of recordings depends mainly on optical components. That's why all four cameras have a reliable SONY STARVIS optical sensor with increased light sensitivity. The STARVIS series guarantees high image detail even at night. The sharpness of the recorded image is ensured by a 6-layer glass lens and a bright lens (low aperture value – f/1.6). The recorded image is clear and allows you to capture even small details, e.g. registration numbers. 4 × FHD is the optimal solution compared to competing car cameras.

Powerful processor

The heart of a video recorder has a big impact on image quality. It is responsible, m.in, for converting the signal from the optical sensor into a digital form, which is eventually saved as a file on a memory card. The top-of-the-line NOVATEK 96670 processor will ensure reliable functioning of the dash cam.

150 degrees from each of the four dash cams

The task of additional indoor cameras is to record not only the interior of the vehicle. Due to the wide viewing angle, the cameras also record events on the sides of the car. This is a completely different perspective, which we will not get in the case of dual driving recorders. This is an additional evidentiary protection in the event of a collision, parking damage or road aggression.

Automatic parking mode

One of the most sought-after and expected features of the driving recorder is the 24-hour vehicle security. In this respect, the Mikavi PQ7 car camera will satisfy the most demanding, because it has an advanced and at the same time convenient automatic parking mode. Activation/deactivation occurs with ignition. The driving recorder automatically detects when the vehicle is parked and automatically switches to parking mode. The extensive parking mode offers three parking sub-modes in which all three car cameras record simultaneously Low bitrate mode records continuously with a reduced bitrate, which definitely limits the volume of files on the memory card (up to 51 hours of material on a 512 GB card!) G-sensor mode starts recording when a shock is detected. Time-lapse mode records continuously in time-lapse mode.

Dedicated adapter to protect the battery against discharge

The adapter plugged into the electrical system is a method of constant power supply to the video recorder also when stationary and when the engine is turned off, e.g. to use the parking mode. An additional ACC cable used in the adapter allows you to activate/deactivate the parking mode in the camera along with the ignition of the car.

Capacitor replacing a lithium-ion battery

The recorder is equipped with a capacitor replacing the lithium-ion battery. Capacitors are much more durable than batteries, are resistant to external factors, e.g. heat, frost, and thus more safe than li-ion batteries.

Mikavi PQ7 4CH video recorder

Supports 512GB memory cards

The Mikavi PQ7 DVR stands out from the competition car cameras with support for cards from 32 GB up to 512 GB. Thanks to this, we can be more sure that important recordings will not be overwritten by loop recording.

Mikavi PQ7 4CH video recorder

GPS module

The GPS module provides the ability to save geolocation data. Using the program to play recordings with GPS data, we can track the route of the vehicle on the map along with the current data (speed, location, acceleration). In addition, we can display the speed and coordinates on the recordings. By synchronizing the clock based on the satellite signal, the recordings contain a precise timestamp.

Mikavi PQ7 4CH video recorder

Wi-Fi module

With the help of a free application, we can conveniently play the recordings stored on the memory card in the camera directly on the smartphone display and download them to the phone's memory. This function is extremely useful in emergency situations such as a collision. The dedicated application also allows you to configure and operate the recorder from the level of a smartphone with iOS / Android system.
