The set includes 3 food containers together with lids with a capacity of: 370 ml, 630 ml and 1050 ml. Alpina storage containers are made of durable borosilicate glass that can be easily put in the freezer, dishwasher, microwave and even oven. This type of glass is stronger than ordinary glass, has a higher melting point and is therefore resistant to high temperature. Therefore, many oven dishes are also made of borosilicate glass. Glass expands less when heated, but also shrinks less when cooled. Thanks to this, the oven dishes are resistant to minimum temperatures of -40 degrees and a maximum of 300 degrees. In addition, this type of glass is also scratch-resistant, withstands impacts and is lighter than ordinary glass. Thanks to the durable borosilicate glass, Alpina food containers are resistant to both heat and cold.
When heating, make sure you do not put the lid in the oven. Each food container in the 6-piece Alpina set is completely airtight, so that food can be stored longer. When storing hot food in containers, you can open the ventilation flap on the lid. In this way, the water vapor and heat generated by the food can evaporate.
