- Hikvision DS-2CD1321-I IP camera is a professional monitoring device with high quality video. It is a turret model, designed for the installation of monitoring of any size. It is recommended both in industrial spaces, as well as in home systems or a small business. The relatively low price and small size of the housing with good image quality is an undoubted plus of this camera model.
- IP cameras are used in changing observation conditions, which is why they are equipped with a number of technologies that ensure insensitivity and active adaptation to the heterogeneous monitoring environment. Additionally, it has image correction features and intelligent systems that capture a clear and readable image.
- The Hikvision DS-2CD1321-I IP camera has a 1/2.7 CMOS sensor with progressive scan, which records images in 2 MP resolution (1920×1080). It has a 2.8 mm fixed focal length lens with a viewing angle of 114.8° horizontal and 62° vertical.
- The camera housing has an IP67 rating, which provides effective protection against weather conditions (full resistance to dust and water). Thanks to this, the device can be mounted both indoors and outdoors.
- The camera can be powered in a conventional way (from a 12V power supply) or via PoE technology that allows to transfer data and power supply with one cable using an appropriate recorder or switch. The device has a built-in SMART IR heater up to 30 m, which allows you to obtain good image quality in difficult conditions, e.g. at night or without any lighting.

- D-WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) wide dynamic range of exposure, i.e. alignment of strong contrasts and brightness differences. Improves scene reproduction in case of large differences in the level of illumination of different parts of it. - 3D DNR (Digital Noise Reduction) function of digital noise reduction in the image. It filters the pixels of the sensor for the removal of noise in the recording resulting from interference (e.g. from changes in signal intensity) and correct color rendering by the camera. Thanks to this solution, it is possible to save clean and transparent recordings both during the day and at night.
- AGC (Automatic Gain Control) advanced function, allowing you to systematically increase the signal level. Correction applied on an ongoing basis ensures stable quality of the image captured in changing observation conditions.
- AES (Automatic Electronic Shutter) function of electronic, automatic shutter, which guarantees proper exposure of the material regardless of changes in lighting.
- BLC (Back Light Compensation) function that allows you to maintain the readability and detail of objects occurring both in the foreground and in the background of the observed scene.

Functional menu and free software
- The modern and intuitive menu in Hikvision cameras gives you the opportunity to test the camera at any time and a convenient live view. Setting image parameters is extremely intuitive. The stability of the camera functioning is ensured by the option of backing up the settings, and the preventive function of automatic restart of the camera ensures the daily effectiveness of monitoring. The ability to set and select built-in analysts, such as crossing the line, distinguishing between vehicle/human objects, gives countless analytical possibilities of the recorded image, or triggering external logic. Higher camera models in line with the decentralization trend have built-in analytics. As edge network devices, some cameras have built-in analytics based on AI artificial intelligence algorithms and already from this level they analyze the image and send all the information to the recorder.
- SADP Tool is a software that allows you to find Hikvision devices in the local network, activate and change the basic network parameters. Now it is possible to conduct monitoring from almost anywhere and at any time.
- Hikvision provides free software for users of iVMS-4200 surveillance cameras. It makes setting up and managing devices intuitive and simple. Using the access application guarantees immediate notification of the user about the possible duplication of the camera's IP address or loss of connection with the device, which significantly secures the proper operation of the video surveillance system and maintains its effectiveness.

- A free application for the user (Android, iOS) prepared by Hikvision is Hik-Connect. It is designed for users who want to effectively use and manage security devices using a smartphone or tablet. Hik-Connect is a cloud service that gives access to Hikvision devices from virtually anywhere in the world.
- Push notifications send current information about the status of devices. Live view is information for the user what is happening in his facility. The application is extremely intuitive, the registration of the device is done in a simple way through a web browser or via QR codes.
- An additional advantage is that the Hikvision P2P service does not require additional port forwarding or a permanent external IP number from the user. The cloud controls the status of devices through a unique ID number, always knowing if the device is online and informing the user of possible problems.
