SG STEELOX
Material: corundum (A46, A60), medium hardness, fiber reinforced synthetic resin binder, good cutting performance and high durability. For use in simple electric and pneumatic grinders. No added fillers containing iron, chlorine and sulfur compounds.
Application: for machining steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, non-ferrous metals and nickel-based alloys. Ideal for cutting sheet metal, profiles and solid steel material, making breakthroughs. Ideal for use in a small area.
Tip: The cutting disc holder must be ordered separately. Observe the maximum rotational speed of the cutting disc and tool holder.
Important tip for stainless steel processing.
When processing stainless steel , it is recommended to use tools that do not contain iron and sulfur compounds. Tools previously used for machining ordinary steel are not suitable for machining stainless steel. On the tool remain the remnants of ordinary steel. These residues damage any type of stainless steel alloy and can corrode the stainless steel workpiece. Even sparks generated during the processing of normal steel can destroy stainless steel alloys and corrode them.
