How the X-Balanced Speaker Unit works
The diaphragm of the newly developed X-Balanced Speaker Unit in the XB23 does not have the shape of a circle unlike standard speakers. The larger surface of such a diaphragm translates into an increase in sound pressure and stronger bass. A smaller amplitude of movements at constant sound pressure means less distortion. And the eccentric design and optimized balance enhance audio clarity and expand the soundstage.
Conical MRC diaphragm and dust protection dome
A rigid, lightweight MRC conical diaphragm and dust protection dome provide better sound quality.
Side passive membranes
The arrangement of the two side passive drivers has been optimized for purity of bass reproduction.
Total dust resistance
With its IP67 rating, the SRS-XB23 will play on the beach, in the woods, in the desert and in virtually any other place, even the most dusty.
Waterproof
IP67 rating means the speaker is resistant to fresh and salt water. You can use it without fear by the sea and at the pool, there is also no problem with washing it.
