The welding jacket is designed to protect the upper part of the body during welding. Protects against sparks, hot metal chips and high temperature. It is resistant to some mechanical hazards and provides moderate thermal protection at the same time it is distinguished by its softness.
The sweatshirt is made of a 1.4 mm thick bovine split. It is characterized by durability, excellent abrasion resistance and heat resistance. Insulated and non-conductive latches protect the welder from electric shock. The jacket has two practical inner pockets. The retractable collar fastened with a latch can be rolled up to cover the neck more accurately. It has an additional lining that stiffens and increases resistance to temperature changes. For sewing , fire-resistant, non-melting threads were used. The material begins to turn into ash only at a temperature of about 426C (800F), which is much higher than nylon or polyester. The product complies with EN ISO 11611:2015. It has protection class 2 and fire protection A1. It protects against chipping of molten metal, short contact with the flame, thermal radiation from the arc. It also minimizes the risk of electric shock in accidental contact with voltages up to approx. 100 V DC under normal welding conditions.
