After setting the preferences, you need to insert the thermometer into the meat. For a good reading, you need to insert the probe halfway into the thickest part of the meat. The probe should be kept away from bones and oily parts of the body. When the thermometer measures the minimum temperature in the desired range, an alarm will sound. The value can be read on the backlit screen. A small LED light is lit on the meat, so that even in low light you can easily check if the meat is ready. This is especially useful during the evening barbecue.
