The MB 12-18 battery is adapted to work in alarm systems, access control and works as an emergency power supply for fire protection systems. It is a maintenance-free VRLA (Valve Regulated Lead Acid) battery with self-regulating safety valves and internal gas recombination) with an electrolyte trapped in an AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) separator. During proper operation, it does not require maintenance and there is no fear of electrolyte leakage or gas escaping. Natural ventilation is sufficient to cool the cells and remove the effects of unforeseen overcharging. This makes these types of batteries suitable for installation in rooms where people are present.
