LiFePo battery packs combine the features of the most commonly used battery types nowadays - robust and resistant to overvoltages and damage-resistant NiMH packets and viable, lightweight and capacious LiPo packages. LiFePo packages also impress with more charging cycles (extended lifespan) and greater cell security than LiPo packages. An additional advantage of LiFePo packages is the fact that they can be used without the need for BEC current controllers - they are connected directly to the receiver.
