MRS series radial multiswitches are dedicated to small and medium (4-70 sockets) installations with distribution of SAT intermediate frequency signal and terrestrial TV signal. Multiswitches are designed for indoor use. If you need to connect more multiswitches, use splitters and taps of the SS-9XX series to divide the bus. Radial multiswitches of the MRS series are dedicated to installations wholly or partly based on the star topology, in which the wires from the end sockets converge at the place of installation of the multiswitch or multiswitch group. They are therefore ideal for use in single or multi-family houses. However, it is possible to use MRS multiswitches in more complex systems. Then the built-in power supply can be used to power other components used in the installation.
MRS-908 has 9 inputs and 8 outputs enabling distribution of signals from two satellites, DVB-T terrestrial television and analog / DAB radio to 8 sockets. If two-head receivers are to be used in the installation, 2 multiswitch outputs should be allocated to them. The cast housing ensures high screening efficiency by preventing interference signals from penetrating inside the device.
The device is equipped with a passive terrestrial TV path, so it should be installed in locations with access to a relatively good TV signal (high signal level, good quality). For weaker signals, it is recommended to use an antenna preamplifier or amplifier, which will further strengthen the signal in the terrestrial television path. If you want to install multiswitches with an active terrestrial TV track, we recommend the MSR Terra series.
QUATRO converters should be used in multiswich based installations.
separation between inputs greater than 30dB
possibility of powering the preamplifier for the terrestrial antenna
built-in power supply
cast housing guaranteeing a high level of shielding - class A
passive terrestrial track
