Magnetic detectors are one of the basic devices of perimeter protection. They are used to secure doors, windows, etc., reacting to their opening. The K-2 detector is designed for flush mounting, i.e. its elements are pressed into properly prepared holes in wood or plastic, e.g. a door frame or window frame. K-2 consists of two watertight parts: a reed (magnetic) sensor and a magnet, which should be in frontal contact. The distance of one part from the other causes the sensor circuit to open, which is signaled as a violation.
K-2 is adapted to work both with any alarm control panel equipped with NC type inputs, as well as in automation systems as a control element.
The K-2 detector is available in two color versions: white (K-2) and brown (K-2 BR).
