Thanks to the RAID1 function, data mirroring can be performed so that data is written to both hard drives in the same way. Thanks to the RAID0 function, the data is divided in blocks between both hard drives. Another possibility of the case is the JBOD function, which allows you to combine two hard drives into one combined hard drive. In normal mode, both hard drives appear as separate hard drives. The individual modes are configured via a DIP switch in the housing. The USB 3.0 port of the housing ensures fast data transmission between the source and the housing. The RAID housing can also be connected to a NAS or e.g. a router with a USB port and NAS function, which makes it possible to use the RAID housing also within the network.
